Cap'n J's - Henderson, NV (702) 340-0403
I feel very blessed to be able to offer guided fishing trips on the big, bad and beautiful Lakes Mead and Mohave. Lake Mead has evolved into one of the best lakes in the country for numbers. Liberal limits of 20 stripers per person are a distinct possibility most of the year on this fabulous year-round fishery.
When first planted, stripers were not supposed to be able to spawn but adapted so well to Lake Mead that they quickly rose to the top of the food chain and number in the millions. Most of our catches run in size from 1 to 6 pounds but we utilize light tackle for sport and you will find these fish “great fun” to catch no matter what your angling experience might be.
Tahoe Sport Fishing - Zephyr Cove, NV (775) 586-9338
Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience on America's premier Alpine lake. Our captains are experienced in trolling, drifting and jigging and they're here year-round to guide you to the lake's hot spots. Depending on the season, you can expect to catch Mackinaw (Lake Trout), Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Kokanee Salmon (more fish info). The Mackinaw season is open all year. Introduced to Lake Tahoe near the turn of the century, Mackinaw have reproduced rapidly over the years. The daily combined limit is 5 fish per person (2 Mackinaws, 3 Trout). Average size is 2—7 pounds and many 20—30 pound trophies are taken each year.
